NK Theatre Arts have been nominated for 5 awards at the Forthcoming Manchester Musical Awards which is an annual event comparing different musical performances from several Performing Arts organisations throughout Greater Manchester.
The company has walked away with at least one gong over the past three years have high hopes for landing another this year.
Fame was shortlisted for Best Supporting Actor and Actress as well as Best Choreographer, whilst the recent performance of Jesus Christ Superstar saw a nomination for Best Ensemble Piece and Best Actress.
Darren Stannage commented “It’s fantastic to be nominated again for several categories at this year’s awards ceremony. People who know our work will realise that the core activities of our organisation is done each week with the young people we work with and the shows and productions are the icing on the cake. It is just reward though for the hard work that the performers have put in and to have received a nomination for Best Ensemble Piece is excellent because it recognises all of those that took part. We are all looking forward to the awards night and celebrating as a company the recognition that we have received.”
