Stockport Homes Group celebrate 13^th accredited year at Best Companies with 1st place finish 

• Stockport Homes Group crowned Number One Housing Association at Best Companies 
• A champion for colleague voice, inclusivity and diversity 
• Shortlisted for the Special Recognition Award for ‘Giving Something Back’

The illustrious awards celebrate excellence in the workplace, something Stockport Homes Group have always had at the heart of their services. 15 years since their first entry, the group’s mission ‘One Team, Transforming Lives’ is as strong as ever: a unique approach to driving meaningful change within the organisation and delivering world class levels of engagement, growth and inclusivity. 

The milestone achievement comes after Stockport Homes Group implemented several ground-breaking initiatives, such as colleague groups that celebrate the diversity and champion voice, innovative growth pathways that provide opportunities to learn new skills and develop careers and on-going welfare support in the form of free counselling, money and energy advice during times of economy uncertainty.

Participating organisations up and down the country take part in the anonymous survey, which generates an accurate account of employee welfare, productivity, inclusion and effective leadership before the position of each entrant is confirmed.

The Best Companies Awards Ceremony takes place on Thursday 3^rd November, where Stockport Homes Group are shortlisted for a Special Recognition Award for ‘Giving Something Back’, a reflection on the impact the groups charitable work has made in the communities in which they serve.
