Seashell is a national learning disability charity supporting children and young adults with complex learning difficulties, disabilities, and additional communication needs across the UK.
Based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, we operate a non-maintained special school, an independent specialist college, residential facilities and respite for children and young adults with the most complex disabilities. We also deliver expert education and support beyond our school and college to individuals, organisations and families from across the country as part of our External Services.
Our students have severe to profound and multiple disabilities and complex needs, including learning disabilities, sensory impairment, autism spectrum condition, and deafblindness.
