Reddish Hall School is a co-educational institution established across two sites in Stockport, catering to pupils aged 5-18 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behavior. Many of our pupils face serious social issues and experience very difficult home lives, resulting in complex emotional challenges. All of our students have individual educational healthcare plans.
All pupils attending Reddish Hall School have unique needs that have proven too complex to address within a mainstream setting. Our ethos is centered on providing a nurturing environment with small class sizes and a dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants, pastoral support workers, and therapists working together to foster academic and social growth. Our vision is to prepare students for life beyond school, equipping them with necessary academic, vocational, and social skills. We pride ourselves on a curriculum that not only engages and interests our students but also supports their individual needs, including those diagnosed with autism spectrum conditions (ASC), ADHD, Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, attachment disorders, dyslexia, and dyspraxia.
Our ‘Outstanding’ careers and personal development program is designed with a focus on youth voice and extensive promotion of their skills and interests through community inclusion and preparation for adulthood work. By partnering with Reddish Hall School’s careers program, employers have a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping resilient, skilled, and confident individuals ready to tackle the next steps in their lives. Your support can help us continue to make a significant difference in the lives of our students and their families, ensuring they have access to the opportunities they need to succeed.
