Established in 2001, the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN) is a network of over 115 members including, Independent Training Providers, FE Colleges, Community Voluntary Organisations, Universities and key suppliers and other stakeholders.
The Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network is one of the largest provider networks in the country.
GMLPN work alongside key partners including; Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Job Centre Plus, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Greater Manchester Colleges Group and Local Authorities to achieve an ever closer alignment between the needs of employers, individuals, communities and the suppliers of skills.
The Network’s ambition is to secure a more effective alignment of the skills system to support Greater Manchester’s economic opportunities, as well as the demands and needs of employers, individuals and communities.
In achieving this ambition we are committed to working alongside colleges and skills providers to raise the overall capacity, capability and responsiveness of the skills system in GM. By doing this we aim to enhance the positive contribution which skills are making to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
