Manchester Airport has marked the ever changing landscape of the UK’s third biggest airport and unveiled a winning photographer’s brand new image library.
Working alongside award winning photography team Hufton+Crow, the new portfolio of images reflect the changing face of Manchester Airport.
Currently adding more than 1m passengers a year, Manchester Airport is a key economic provider for the region and is constantly evolving. To showcase this to external audiences Hufton+Crow and the airport have launched this set of striking new images.
They include shots of areas people will be familiar with, such as check in, departures, baggage reclaim, as well as images taken from unique vantage points, like the runways and top of the control tower.
On the release of the new images, Seb Thompson, Press Office Manager, who spearheaded the project said: “These new pictures are a snapshot in time for Manchester Airport, which is currently going through big changes and massive growth. The tone, atmosphere and ambience of the images really bring the airport and its operations to life in an iconic, eye-catching way.
“The stunning images not only showcase how many carriers we have here at Manchester Airport, but also the wide choice of shops and restaurants we have here for passengers to enjoy before their flight.”
