Marketing Stockport members Assured Events and C&C Insurance Brokers are behind a campaign to get votes for local disabled girl Katie Toft, who is training to get to the Paralympics in Rio.
Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society, who run a disabled cycling club, is where Katie got started and has gone on to be a serious cyclist. She and her family are having to find all the money for this dream themselves- she doesn’t get any money from the UK Paralympics people or anywhere else.
There is some funding available and Katie’s in for it but is currently 2nd in the vote, which closes on Monday. We need Katie to be number 1! Please vote – it will be brlliant to see another local paralympian!
The vote is here: http://mcrwomenbike.org.uk/entries/
THANK YOU
Katie is 2nd on the list, please, please vote for her, and please pass this on to everyone you know – let’s get her to Rio!!
