The Walthew House Cup ‘Blind’ Tenpin Bowling Tournament — an event full of fun and some skill – will take place in March to raise funds for Walthew House.
Date: Wednesday 19th March 2014, 10am-2pm (2 games)
Where: Parrs Wood Bowling Alley, Didsbury, South Manchester
Decent tenpin bowler? How about blindfolded?
Compete against two visually impaired Walthew House teams and other sighted teams to win the Walthew House Cup.
Both Walthew House teams have made it to the National Blind Tenpin League Finals. Stockport Team One – Pairs Champions 2010, Stockport Team Two – Triples Champions 2012.
Players will be either blind folded or given simulation glasses (Sim Specs) to ensure they’re on an equal footing with the Walthew House teams.
Can your team beat the champions?
Entrance is £50 per team of 4 and includes light refreshments. The highest score over two games takes home the cup.
10am arrival, two games and a short presentation, lasting approximately four hours.
Any donations of raffle prizes will be gratefully received.
We also have a limited number of sponsorship places – if you would like to advertise at this event which will attract up to 24 teams from local businesses and organisations please ask for details. It’s £50 to sponsor a lane
