Stockport’s mutual, Vernon Building Society, has launched its brand new website to make it easier for borrowers and savers to access and interact with the society online.
The website has had a facelift with a fresh look and feel, giving members easy access to the society’s mortgage and savings products.
The Vernon relaunched the website to improve the user experience and bring the Society to life, with a focus on its colleagues who deliver a personal service, as well as showcasing the work it does in the local community.
Tanasè Rivers, Head of Marketing, Brand and Culture at the building society, said:
“Our website needed to be better and brighter, so that it’s easy to see who we are, what we offer and what we stand for as a mutual organisation.
“This investment in our digital proposition is just the first step in boosting our digital capability and improving the online experience for our members.
“Of course, we’re still Stockport’s building society, with a network of branches across the borough and our team are second to none when it comes to service. That won’t be changing. If you need us, we’re just a call or click away.”
As part of the mutual’s growth strategy, it has also refreshed its digital mortgage broker portal to improve functionality for advisers and help grow its business-to-business proposition.
The new website is live on www.thevernon.co.uk. Consumers can also call the building society on 0161 429 6262, or visit one of its six branches in Bramhall, Hazel Grove, Marple, Poynton, Reddish and St Petersgate in Stockport town centre.
