The Vernon’s 2022 Charity Calendar – created from the winners of the building society’s annual photography competition – is now on sale in the building society’s six branches.
All proceeds from the sale of this year’s ‘Celebration of Stockport’ calendar will go to St Ann’s Hospice. The worthy charity was chosen by Vivian Bath, who won the front cover spot with her vibrant photograph of Stockport’s historic marketplace.
The calendar features beautiful images of the town centre and surrounding areas, taken by local residents and submitted as part of an annual photography challenge, hosted by the Vernon building society.
Tanasè Rivers, head of marketing, brand and culture at Vernon, said:
“We were thrilled to get so many beautiful shots of Stockport town centre, the wider borough and Poynton. It made it really hard to pick the finalists, but we think we’ve created a fantastic showcase of Stockport this year.
“The calendars are for sale in each of our branches – Bramhall, Hazel Grove, Marple, Poynton, Reddish and Stockport. They make the perfect Christmas present for any proud Stopfordian, while raising funds for a fantastic local cause.”
A donation of £5 is suggested for the building society’s charity calendar, although any amount is appreciated.
