Venue@Cornerstone receives global recognition

On the 6^th October 2022, Venue@Cornerstone took home Gold in the Globee Awards for “Star of the Year in Hospitality, Travel, Recreation, and Leisure”.

Now in its 12^th year, the Globee Business Awards recognise accomplishments and contributions of companies and business executives and professionals worldwide.

Venue@Cornerstone is a not-for-profit meeting and events space social value at the heart of everything it offers, located in Stockport Homes’ town centre Cornerstone headquarters. As a social value oriented operation, any profit made is regenerated within the local community served by the Stockport Homes Group (SHG).

Despite the ongoing challenges of Covid-19 restrictions, the site achieved its best ever year achieving £10,000 (a 71%) increase in revenue than previously generated pre-pandemic. The achievement is testament to Venue@Cornerstone’s Sales and Marketing Team, which is also up for Hospitality team of the year at the Manchester Young Talent Awards.
