Yorkshire Bank is hosting a free to attend leadership event – The Power of Positivity – at Lancashire County Cricket in November in conjunction with renowned performance expert Michael Finnigan, CEO of i2i.
The first of its kind, the half-day seminar is open to Managing, Financial and Board Directors from across the area and will take place on Thursday 6th November from 9am to 12.30pm followed by complimentary lunch and is being organised by the bank’s Business Development team acting in Stockport and South Manchester.
i2i have been working in the field of performance psychology since 1992, providing support to many of the world’s top individuals and organisations.
They are probably most recognised for their work in sport, helping England to win the Ashes in 2005, Darren Clarke the Golf Open Championship in 2011 and Wigan the FA Cup in 2013.
They have also helped to shape the performance improvement strategy of many major businesses from Royal Mail, where sales successfully increased from £500,000 to £5 million units per week, to Rolls Royce who were subsequently able to reduce the build time for an engine from 400 days to 14 days, against a cost saving of over £400 million in the process!
Michael will share some of the methods i2i employ with their most famous and successful clients, following which, there will be time for discussion over lunch, as well as a wider opportunity to network, exchange knowledge and information with other members of the local business community.
