ABOUT STRIDE
STRIDE is about empowering women to be the difference, not to make a difference, but to be the difference for themselves.
STRIDE is not an Academic Business Programme, unlike an MBA which is a ‘one size fits all’ and requires huge time and financial commitment. STRIDE is accessible to all female managers and provides a very personal approach through its one-to-one coaching and supportive network. It’s about understanding ourselves first, in order to achieve success for ourselves – and to make business work successfully.
It is a six month programme which was created in response to the issues of middle management being the key drop-out point for women, and further developed following feedback from leading businesswomen and men. Our research has shown that despite having the right experience and skills to deliver, the number of women in middle management positions drop from 40 to 15 per cent.
STRIDE is designed to help advance the careers of female managers through the following programme outline:
- Three workshops
- One-to-one feedback sessions
- Telephone coaching
- A series of webinars delivered by a range of global speakers
- Membership to the Oakridge STRIDE community which includes an online forum, action learning groups and invitations to networking events and masterclass series.
The programme is packed with practical tools and techniques, emotional intelligence diagnostics and networking opportunities plus leadership support and advice. The feedback to date has been fantastic with an average score of 4.94 / 5 when STRIDE participants were asked to rate the programme overall and 100 % of participants would recommend STRIDE.
