Together, one of the UK’s leading specialist mortgage and secured loan providers, has appointed Richard Gregory OBE as Chairman of the Group’s subsidiary, Together Personal Finance Limited.
Richard replaces David Bennett who is stepping down after nearly nine years with Together.
Richard brings with him significant banking experience having worked for the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banking Group PLC (“CYBG”) for nearly 20 years. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor to CYBG and as honorary Chair of Yorkshire Bank. In 2017, He retired as Senior Independent Director of CYBG, a role in which he helped oversee the operational separation from National Australia Bank, and as Chair of the Risk Committee. Richard previously served on the Board of National Australia Group Europe Ltd and on the Board’s Audit and Risk committees.
His executive career began with ITV, initially at Granada and then at Yorkshire Tyne Tees, before retiring as Managing Director Broadcasting, Yorkshire Television, in 2002. He has been Chairman of Imagesound PLC, Science City York, Sheffield Hallam University, Yorkshire Innovation and Yorkshire International Business Convention. He was Deputy Chairman of Yorkshire Forward, the regional development agency and was Chairman of the Yorkshire region and served on the National Board of Business in the Community. Richard was also Chairman of two NHS foundation trusts, and a member of the Board of Foundation Trust Network and the Advisory Board to the NHS Leadership Academy.
