The Light Cinema at Redrock Stockport is hosting a private screening of the new Disney film with all proceeds going to the Reddish based Cheshire Theatre School.
The Light is hosting a private screening of the new Disney film ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ on 19 April with all proceeds going to the Reddish based Cheshire Theatre School who have been chosen to represent Team England in this year’s Dance World Cup in Spain.
The Light cinema’s support doesn’t stop there. They have also donated a free family cinema ticket as a prize for a raffle that the dance school is organising to raise further funds.
Jamie Pitt, Business Manager at The Light said:
It’s great to be able to support such a good local cause and we hope all the local dancers to an amazing job representing England and flying the flag for Stockport. We are more than happy to donate a raffle prize too and hope Cheshire Theatre School raise enough funds to realise their world cup dream”
Vickie Goodwin from Cheshire Theatre School said:
Being chosen to represent England at Dance World Cup is a huge honour and this event at The Light will definitely help us raise funds to cover some of the costs. I want to say a massive thank you to The Light for showing their support, local businesses who have also donated raffle prizes and for all the local people who have already bought cinema tickets.”
