Stockport businesses are making the most of this summer’s longest weekend by organising the first Summer Business Community & Family BBQ. The afternoon and evening event is open to everyone and will take place ahead of the Headlander Festival on Friday 19th June at Stockport Rugby Club.
This will be a great opportunity for the whole family to meet work colleagues and friends while having a fun packed afternoon that will include entertainment, fairground rides, a BBQ, Hog Roast and music.
Chelsea Maher of Clarke Nicklin, organisers of the hugely successful Stockport Business Awards is co-ordinating the event and looking for businesses that are willing to help raise funds that will benefit the Beechwood Cancer Centre and Francis House Children’s Hospice:
“The Stockport Business Awards have proved that Stockport is home to a vibrant business community and we have some great business networks such as SK & Away and Marketing Stockport.
“NatWest, CDL, Clarke Nicklin, Midshire Business Systems and Marketing Stockport have agreed to help fund the event so that we can raise as much money as possible for the charities while having a great social and informal event for the whole family.”
