Alongside support top British comedians including the North West’s Paddy McGuinness will be encouraging smokers throughout October by bringing a touch of the British sense of humour to help quitters.
After a successful Stoptober 2013, which saw 1,200 people in Stockport sign up to quit, it would be great to see even more people pledging to quit this year. People who quit smoking for 28 days are five times more likely to quit for good, improving health and putting more money into pockets.
And if you missed the start date, don’t worry – you can quit anytime during October and receive the same excellent support to quit.
