Colliers International and joint agent Impey & Co have let the old Bank Chambers in Stockport’s market place to Stockport Live Ltd, a pub group owned by Stockport based Yacoub Naber.
Rental offers of £39,000 were being sought for Bank Chambers, a landmark building in Stockport, Greater Manchester that formerly operated as a Yates Wine Lodge.
The prominent three-storey property in Market Place originally housed a bank but was most recently was occupied by Bambooza, a 2,340 sq ft bar with mezzanine seating, and a large basement.
Colin Siebert, Licensed and Leisure Director at Colliers International in Manchester, said Bank Chambers was suitable for a variety of uses subject to planning consent including as a pub or wine bar, restaurant or for conversion to retail usage.
He said: “Bank Chambers is located at the heart of a well-established social circuit in central Stockport and has traditionally traded as a public house but offers an ideal opportunity for a restaurant operator.”
