A Stockport based workwear manufacturer is shining the spotlight on our everyday heroes.
Most people have someone they consider to be everyday heroes and now a leading Stockport-based workwear manufacturer is giving those heroes a chance to be recognised. Ballyclare Limited is running a competition for people to nominate their own Everyday Hero and win one of a number of different prizes.
“We work closely with people and organisations in many different fields, such as fire and rescue, rail, police and general industry, so we’re well aware of the great jobs that people within those areas do on a regular daily basis,” explains Ballyclare’s Digital Marketing Executive, Sam Bennett.
“We wanted to recognize the fact that many of those people are a hero to someone who knows them, and to reward them for their efforts.”
The competition allows people to nominate their own special person who inspires them with their dedication, determination or other outstanding qualities. While that hero might be the sort of person who puts their own safety on the line to help others – such as firefighters, emergency service or military personnel, they could equally well be a teacher, carer, sport coach or anyone else who goes that extra mile to help others.
Both the hero and the person who nominates them could win an amazing Red Letter Day experience, which could be anything from a flight in a biplane or a supercar driving session, through to a hot air balloon ride or a luxury spa day. There’s also a weekly prize of a £25 shopping voucher up for grabs.
“This isn’t just about winning prizes though,” adds Sam. “It’s also an important opportunity for people to give recognition to someone they admire and let them know that their efforts are really appreciated.”
