Joining the recent influx of arts projects, media types, trendy restaurants and snazzy shops in Glossop is one ‘snobby’ parlour on its own; Snobby Dogs.
Run by Sabrina Pendlebury, the Glossop location is the fourth Stockport Snobby Dogs salon to open for the Stockport based business.

Voted Grooming Business of the Year 2012, the company has built its reputation on providing the love and care that man’s – or in this case woman’s – best friend deserves.
To mark the arrival of the new salon to the area, a special opening party will take place on Sunday April 6 between 12pm and 3pm, prior to the official opening on Monday April 7. There will be complimentary drinks and nibbles, as well as a free raffle to win a half-day Premier Pamper package.
The opening of the salon will be conducted by Dave the pug, the current face of Snobby Dogs Woodley.
During the open day, Snobby Dogs will be searching for a mascot to represent the Glossop salon and become the Face of Snobby Dogs Glossop 2014. The team will be photographing all of the dogs in attendance to decide which one will be crowned; representing the business for 12 months and receiving a year’s free grooming.
A family-run business, Snobby Dogs offers a large range of treatments, from bathing, de-matting and clipping to even pedicures and nail painting – all at competitive prices.
The team grooms on full view and its salons have large, relaxing reception areas, which house high quality clothing, collars, leads and accessories.
New to Snobby Dogs is its Day Care service. The team will care for your pooch for just £12.50 a day which includes lunch. And, an optional bath and dry can be added for an additional £10.
Exclusively to the Glossop shop is ‘Foamy Fridays’ where any Friday your dog can be bathed and dried for just £10, giving them a clean and fresh look ready for the weekend. Also new is a collect and drop service, allowing those who can’t make it to the salons the option of having their special friend chauffeur-driven and returned following their few hours of luxury.
