Below is a list of the latest roadworks in Stockport affecting MARPLE, WOODLEY, BREDBURY, WOODFORD & HAZEL GROVE
- Electricity North West will be carrying out work to install a new electricity supply on Brabyns Brow in Marple, between the junction with Arkwright Road and Marple Train Station. These works will require the use of temporary two-way signals on Tuesday 17th September, from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Work will also take place on the following two days but will not have an impact on the carriageway.
- Stockport Council we will be resurfacing part of the carriageway on Ashton Street between Hyde Road and South View in Woodley. The work is due to start on 16th September and is expected to take up to one week to complete. The work will be carried out between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
- British Telecom will be undertaking work to gain access to a carriageway box to provide services to a customer on Chester Road in Woodford, outside number 535, between the junctions with Church Lane and Moor Lane. These works will require the use of temporary two-way signals on Sunday 22nd September, between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The two-way signals will be manned at all times.
- Electricity North West will be undertaking work to install a new high voltage cable connection on Stockport Road West in Bredbury, at the junction with Welkin Road. These works will require the use of temporary multi-way signals on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September. The multi-way signals will be manned at all times.
- Stockport Council will be resurfacing part of the carriageway on Highfield Close between Frewland Avenue at approximately number 13. The work is due to start 16th September and is expected to take up to one week to complete. Work will be carried out between 8.00am and 5.00pm daily.
- Stockport Council is carrying out highway drainage fault investigation works on Offerton Road in Hazel Grove, between the junctions with Delamere Road and Torkington Road. These works require the use of two-way signals and will take place from 30th September to 1st October.
