Stockport recruitment start-up, Edengreave Ltd, has been accredited as a fully compliant member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
Despite less than six months of trading, Edengreave has been found to be compliant with the REC’s Code of Professional Practice.
Edengreave was established to offer people in Stockport and Manchester a boutique and service-led approach to recruitment, matching individuals and their ambitions with careers and company cultures, rather than simply CVs with job descriptions.
Talent Director and Founder of Edengreave, Jacqui Francis-Lamont, increasingly heard both job seekers and hiring managers lament the quality of service they received from recruitment agencies whilst in previous roles recruiting both in Stockport and nationwide. Jacqui said:
I am delighted that Edengreave has secured its REC accreditation so quickly. The REC’s Code of Professional Practice puts the way agencies treat their customers, both candidates and clients, front and centre, so it is really encouraging to have had recognition for doing just that.
“Finding and starting a new job ranks as one of life’s most stressful experiences. Likewise, having an empty desk on the team means a greater workload too. Poor service during the hiring process only adds to the stress, whether that’s in not providing prompt and honest feedback, skipping over details about a job, or simply trying to fit square pegs into round holes.
“We hope that getting the REC’s seal of approval for our high standards adds extra reassurance to both employers and jobseekers that they will get a service they can trust from Edengreave.”
The REC is the only professional body for the recruitment sector which admits members only if they meet high ethical standards in the industry, going beyond the legal requirements of recruitment agency practice.
