The application process is now open to register to attend Stockport’s first ever Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony 2015.
This ceremony will celebrate the success and achievements of Advanced and Higher Apprentices, along with their parents and employers.
The event will take place at Stockport Town Hall on 2nd July 2015, starting at 12PM. The event is free and there will also be an opportunity for formal photographs to capture the day’s experience.
Applications are open to eligible apprentices and their training providers and employers, but invitations will be issued on a strictly first come, first served basis.
Apprentices need to have achieved an Advanced or Higher Apprenticeship between 1 January 2014 and 31 March 2015, and be a resident of or be employed by an employer based in Greater Manchester.
Councillor Shan Alexander, Stockport Council’s Executive Councillor for Lifelong Learning and Achievement (pictured 3rd from left) said:
“We are delighted to be hosting this event, which will celebrate the enormous success and achievement of Higher and Advanced Apprentices across Greater Manchester.
“Every single person who has completed an Apprenticeship can be proud of what they have achieved. It is important that success is rewarded to encourage others to aspire to greater things, and that is what this ceremony will do. This event will also help to raise the profile of Apprenticeships and highlight how undertaking an Apprenticeship can lead to a successful future.”
