A team of around 20 staff members at Stockport Homes will be braving a climb to the top of England’s highest mountain, in aid of Reuben’s Retreat, Stockport Homes’ charity of the year 2018.
On July 21st, the physically demanding feat will be taken on by the volunteers, who have been named ‘Reuben’s Trekkers’, and will involve them making their way up the 3,209 feet to the summit.
Tracy Sweeting, Health and Wellbeing coordinator at Stockport Homes and one of the team members said,
“With weeks left before we climb Scafell Pike, the nerves are starting to set in, but knowing that we’re doing it for Reuben’s Retreat makes all the blisters worthwhile.
On behalf of the Reuben’s Trekkers team, I would like to say a huge thank you to Direct Promotions for once again sponsoring and providing us with fabulous personalised hoodies and t-shirts, we really appreciate it!”
