Stockport Homes Group has been crowned as winner at the Stockport Business Awards, for its approach to Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Group attended the awards ceremony on 11 October at Stockport Town Hall to receive the prestigious award.
Stockport Business Awards celebrate business excellence within the Stockport Borough, and showcase enterprises of every size, shape and description.
Social Responsibility is key to the way the team at Stockport Homes’ behave and to the way all of the Group’s companies operate. Its socially responsible approach to doing business is based on four general principles:
- developing self-sustaining local communities;
- increasing employability and employment;
- supporting colleagues to maximise the social value they deliver; and
- reducing carbon use and protecting the environment.
Our ‘One Team’ approach is central to delivery. Social Responsibility is enshrined in the Group’s values, every team and individual considers their role in delivering social value outcomes in a socially responsible way.
