The partnership between Stockport Homes and B4Box has been shortlisted for the Integration and Collaborative Working Award at this year’s North West Regional Construction Awards.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Manchester on 6 July 2018.
Becoming a finalist in this category recognises the commitment to transforming lives that Stockport Homes shares with B4Box, who provide training and employment opportunities in construction to people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Aileen McDonnell, founder and CEO of B4Box said,
“We are proud to have been recognised for the strength of our partnership with Stockport Homes in attracting fantastic local people from diverse backgrounds into the construction industry and providing them with exciting and fulfilling career opportunities.”
Robin Burman, Chair of Stockport Homes’ Board said,
“The projects that we work on with B4Box have an incredibly positive impact on the lives of Stockport residents and the local economy. For both companies to be nominated for our hard work as a collaboration is a great achievement.”
