The legal and financial seminar will be held on April 11th at Clarke Nicklin’s office to explain what pension scheme qualifies, the reasons why and when auto-enrolment is happening and outline safeguards businesses can make to ensure they are compliant with the new legislation.
Employment associate solicitor, Philip Richardson at Stephensons, will provide an update from the employment law perspective while Scott Herbert, a partner at Clarke Nicklin will look at the tax regulations.
Karen Baron, business management consultant at Stephensons, is also among the speakers. She said: “Avoiding pitfalls when it comes to pension enrolment schemes is something that many businesses are concerned about, but may not know if their current pension plans will fit in the new legislation.
“Our seminar will ensure businesses follow the correct procedures and remain within the law, as well as looking at the associated costs and ways in which higher costs can be avoided.”
The seminar is free to attend and will take place on April 11th 2013 with breakfast and networking from 8am, followed by the seminar at 8.30am. The event will close at 10am with questions from the audience.
