Stockport County will compete in the League One Play-Offs for the second consecutive season and bid to return to the Championship for the first time since 2002.
The Hatters guaranteed their place in the top six with a 3-1 win at Barnsley on the final day of the campaign. A defeat for Bolton Wanderers at home to Luton Town confirmed a third-place finish for the second time, and setting up a semi-final tie with Stevenage.
County will travel to Stevenage for the first leg on Saturday 9th May. The second leg will then be played at Edgeley Park on Wednesday 13th May (8pm kick-off).
The winner will progress to the Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 24 May, where promotion to the EFL Championship is at stake against either Bradford City or Bolton.
The 2025/26 season marks the 12th consecutive campaign where the club has moved forward, either achieving promotion, returning to the play-offs, and improving its league position year on year. That progression includes title-winning campaigns in the National League North (2018/19), National League (2021/22) and League Two (2023/24).
The current campaign is the latest step in that journey, reflecting sustained progress both on and off the pitch.
Information regarding ticket sales and key dates ahead of the Play-Offs will be communicated by Stockport County as soon as it becomes available.
