Stockport Council are trialing a new free email alert service for residents and businesses across the Borough. Do you fancy being able to choose the information YOU want to hear about?
Well now there’s an easy way of keeping informed about the things that matter to you, as Stockport Council pilots a free email alert service. To give it a go, simply visit www.stockport.gov.uk and click on the bright orange envelope to sign up. Enter your email address and select, from a list of topics, the information you’re interested in.
Whether it’s just a single topic, such as ‘Emergency Alerts’ or a number of topics such as ‘What’s On,’ ‘Nursery and School Admissions,’ ‘Road Works,’ ‘Business News,’ or ‘Museum and Galleries’…the choice is yours! You’ll then receive instant email alerts when items you’ve subscribed to get updated.
You can even select how often you receive the information and change your topic selection at any point by logging in with your email address.
The trial will run until the end of October. Email addresses and any personal information will be kept confidential and the service can be cancelled at any time.
