Members of the public will be able to view the proposed masterplan for Stockport College at a special public consultation exhibition.
The £24m project will provide better, more modern teaching facilities for the 2020/21 term. There are also plans to redevelop surplus parts of the site for other uses.
Visitors will be able to see the plans, as well as speak to members of the project team to find out further information and ask any questions they may have. They will also have the opportunity to leave comments.
The public consultation will take place on Wednesday 27 June 2018 at Stockport College reception between 3:30pm – 8pm.
The outcome of the consultation will be included in the planning application submission to Stockport Council in due course.
Michelle Leslie of Stockport College commented:
“We are delighted to be able to share with the people of Stockport the exciting new masterplan for the redevelopment of the College, and discussing the plans with them. This is a great opportunity for us to get the views of parents, students and interested local people, and a forum for them to leave their thoughts, comments and suggestions”.
