the Nacue Innovation Fund
The Reclaimers are turning the waste wood from the Carpentry and Joinery Department into saleable products, raising money for the College’s Enterprise Society, at the same time as developing their own employability skills.
The competition offers the chance for enterprising students to showcase their creativity, business ideas, and help the college recycle their waste. Competitors are being invited to identify the waste in their own department created in the process of their learning, then think about how that waste could potentially be made into a saleable product.
