
A number of Stockport based charities have been shortlisted for funding in the Lloyds Bank Community Fund.
Inorder for them to benefit from the funding they need votes ! Voting can be be done online, SMS, via twitter or in Lloyds Bank branches.
The Lloyds Bank Community Fund is a national initiative to support local community charities, nominated by the general public.
This year 8305 local causes were nominated nationally in the spring. They they have now been reviewed and a shortlist of four exists in each local community of branches.
Voting opened this week and runs until 10th October and the £3000 winners will be announced on 3rd November, although every shortlisted cause will gain some funding.
The charities are:-
– Stockport Foodbank
– Stockport Without Abuse
– Walthew House
– Stockport Tadpole Group
– Re:dish
– Friends of South Park (Cheadle Hulme)
– Parents in Partnership
