Stockport businesses are being urged to ‘go global’ with the help of UKTI who are holding a ‘free’ session to help Stockport businesses with their exporting.
The event is taking place on Friday 27th February, 9am-2pm at Stockport Sports Village, Woodley.
Lisa Smart, Prospective MP for Hazel Grove said:
“The business world is venturing more and more online and, as such, demands on businesses to be technologically savvy are rocketing. We want Stockport businesses to be equipped with the best tools to keep up with this race. This free event aims to do just this.
“Stockport businesses will hear top tips from the best in the business on how to expand their exporting online, giving our local businesses the knowledge and expertise to ‘go global’ with their trade. This is a really exciting prospect and I hope that as many Stockport businesses as possible take advantage of the free expert help available to them next Friday.”
Commenting, Sir Andrew Stunell MP said:
“Seven out of ten Stockport businesses haven’t even tried exporting. Now, with the rise of e-commerce, it is a simple step even for the smallest business. I hope this seminar will put many more local firms on the road to export success.”
The event is aimed at supporting North West businesses currently exporting online. To register for the event visit – http://e-exportingnw.eventbrite.co.uk
