Stockport Business Summit is open for businesses to find out the investment in Stockport.
Stockport’s £1bn programme of investment is changing the face of Stockport, attracting more business into the town and creating a more attractive environment for everyone who visits, lives and works in Stockport.
Stockport Exchange has transformed the gateway into Stockport, where new the first phase of Grade A offices have been fully let and the new Holiday Inn Express is already one of the top performing in the country.
Christian Mancier, Chairman of the Stockport Economic Alliance and a partner at Gorvins, is keen to ensure that everyone knows what is happening now, how the town is evolving and what the future holds:
If you have driven through Stockport town centre recently, you can’t fail to notice the new buildings, developments and improvements that are taking place. Stockport is one of the North West’s leading and most successful business locations and a great deal of positive progress has been made in recent months and years to ensure the borough retains this position.
But, if you’re wondering what it’s all about, and what else may be in the pipeline, the Stockport Business Summit “Your Stockport, Your Business, Your Future” on Friday 7th July is your opportunity to find out more, contribute your thoughts on how Stockport could further improve to become an even better place to do business and to network with other local businesses. The event will also provide current information about the range of business support services offered by the Business Growth Hub.
I intend to be there, and hope many local businesses will join me as together we seek an even better future for the borough.
The event is free to attend and will take place on Friday 7th July 2017 from 7.30 am to 10.15 am at the Stockport Art Gallery, Wellington Road South (A6), Stockport SK3 8AB
I hope to see you there.
Christian Mancier, Chair of Stockport Economic Alliance
