Organisers and founders, Clarke Nicklin, are once again calling on local businesses to donate a prize for the charity raffle to raise funds on the evening of the Stockport Business Awards 2021.
This year the Stockport Business Awards are supporting two charities, Smart Works and the Stockport NHS Charity.
Smart Works are a charity that provide high quality interview clothes and training to unemployed women in need, who have often been referred from organisations such as job centres, care homes, homeless shelters and mental health charities. Not only do Smart Works offer invaluable training and styling advice, they also give women the confidence and self-belief to succeed at their interview and, ultimately, transform their life.
Stockport NHS Charity exists to improve the health and wellbeing of patients by delivering services above and beyond ordinary standards. Their aim is to help patients get better quicker and stay well for longer. Fundraising helps them to achieve this through enhanced medical equipment, improved staff performance, development and wellbeing and advanced research programmes.
Marketing Manager at Clarke Nicklin, Laura Frost, commented:
So many Stockport businesses have shown enormous generosity over the last 10 years and donated some amazing prizes which has helped our previous charity partners raise thousands of pounds on the night, we hope this year will be no different and we can call upon the generosity of the Stockport business community once again to support two worthy causes.”
If you would like to donate prize or find out more information please email Alice Atkinson.
This year’s entries are now open and businesses can enter via the Stockport Business Awards website. For any other queries please contact: Laura Frost.
