It’s that time of year again – the Stockport Business Awards 2017 are open for entries.
Last year a record number of entries were received and organisers, Clarke Nicklin, are hoping to uncover even more successful businesses again in 2017.
Andrew Baggott, of Clarke Nicklin commented:
“Last year we were celebrating our fifth awards ceremony. It was a fantastic evening that yet again helped promote the Stockport business community and identify the amazing businesses we have in the region. I’m sure it will be difficult to top this year, but I think we’ll manage it!
“The event celebrates all that is great about business in Stockport and I would encourage anybody to take a look at the categories and submit an entry. There’s something for everyone and you’ve got nothing to lose by entering the awards, but everything to gain. Winners as well as the shortlisted entrants tell us that the recognition and raised profile they gained by being shortlisted for an award was great for business and great for staff too.”
The categories for 2017 are:
- Business of the Year (over £5m)
- Business of the Year (£1-5m)
- Business of the Year (up to £1m)
- Most Promising Young Business
- Business Person of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- International Business of the Year
