Stockport Business Awards 2017 are open for entry and you’ve got just under four weeks left to submit a nomination to get your business the recognition it deserves.
This will be the sixth Stockport Business Awards ceremony and each year judges have seen an increase in both quality and quantity of applications.
Andrew Baggott of organisers Clarke Nicklin commented;
“I hope this year we’ll uncover yet more successful businesses, Stockport never ceases to surprise us and we’re never short of untold stories. I would encourage everybody to look at the categories and enter the ones you meet the criteria for. There’s something for everyone and you’ve got nothing to lose by entering the awards, but everything to gain.”
The full list of categories is:
- Business of the Year (over £5m)
- Business of the Year (£1-5m)
- Business of the Year (up to £1m)
- Most Promising Young Business
- Business Person of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- International Business of the Year
- The Innovation Award
- Best Creative Agency
- Best Food & Drink Retailer
- Best Not-for-Profit Organisation

Two of the categories are new for Stockport Business Awards 2017. The winner of the Best Food & Drink Retailer category will need to show how they have built a sustainable, profitable bar, restaurant or retail food business. Whilst creatives will battle it out to come out on top as the Best Agency in the competitive creative/digital field.
Entries are open now and it’s free and easy to apply at www.stockportbusinessawards.co.uk.
