Since April 2017, businesses trading in Stockport Town Centre have enjoyed the benefits of being part of a Business Improvement District – Stockport BID
The BID Board and their team at Totally Stockport are committed to work with the BID levy payers and partners to deliver a sustainable, successful and vibrant town centre for everyone. Part of the Stockport BID remit is to boost new business opportunities, attract more shoppers and encourage increased numbers of visitors who visit more frequently.
Approximately £450,000 is generated annually by the BID Levy payers and it is therefore important that all the BID levy payers have the opportunity to get involved.
BID Manager Paul Taylor explains:
“We need to know what is important to each of the businesses in the town centre and have produced the Stockport BID Business Survey giving each one of the businesses an opportunity to have their say.
“The current five-year BID term comes to an end in March 2022 and consequently the BID needs to reassure everyone that the BID is focusing on those issues, projects and initiatives that have been identified as needing attention. The BID Business survey and questionnaire will help to do this.
“This is a hugely important project; the BID Team are asking all town centre based businesses to look out for the survey when it arrives through their letterboxes and to take the time to complete it. Naturally all responses will be kept entirely confidential and not shared individually with others.”
Any of the BID levy paying businesses who would like to complete the survey form with a member of the Stockport BID team can contact the BID office on 0161 244 9896, or via email at info@totallystockport.co.uk and we will arrange a meeting with you.
If you have Stockport town centre businesses have any questions about the survey, please contact Paul Taylor 0161 244 9896 or email info@totallystockport.co.uk
