Marketing solutions provider, APS Group has won a three-year, multi-million pound print management contract with animal welfare charity the RSPCA.
As part of the deal, APS Group will manage and produce all print materials for the RSPCA, including direct mail, promotional leaflets, banners and posters that are used to fundraise and raise awareness of the organisation’s on-going cause.
APS Group will also have a small team of direct mail specialists permanently based on-site at the RSPCA’s southern support centre in Southwater, Horsham.
The RSPCA carries out many fundraising mail-outs throughout the year. Previously, the RSPCA had relied on its in-house print room but took the decision to find a new print partner that could offer improved efficiencies as well as increased levels of consultancy on up-to-date direct mail and print techniques. APS Group was selected following a highly competitive tendering process with over 10 other print suppliers initially in the running.
Simon Taylor, Client Services Director at APS commented: “…This is a great opportunity for APS Group to secure its credentials in the charity sector. We understand how acutely important it is for charities to be as financially efficient as possible. As well as guaranteeing quality across its print output we want the RSPCA to feel confident that we are providing value in everything we do, to ensure that more of the charity’s funds can be used to help its fundamental cause…”
Alethea Lavington, responsible for strategic sourcing for marketing and campaigns at the RSPCA, said: “…We were impressed with APS Group’s ability to deliver a quality service with maximum value and efficiency, all of which were vital elements in our selection process. Fundamentally however, the team at APS Group was a great cultural fit for us both ethically and personally and demonstrated a real understanding of our goals as a charity…”
