Stockport-based chartered accountancy practice Clarke Nicklin has been shortlisted at the 2016 Skills for Business Awards.
Stockport is living up to its reputation in developing young talent as chartered accountancy practice Clarke Nicklin is shortlisted at the 2016 Skills for Business Awards.
Over the last 10 years Clarke Nicklin have regularly taken on 2 accountancy trainees per year, straight out of a local college and fully funded a 5 year training contact to qualify them as chartered accountants. A culture of learning, training and continuous improvement is clear throughout the entire firm, with all members of the Marketing and Administration departments also having the opportunity to upskill. Clarke Nicklin have been an Investors in People company since 2010.
This nomination also recognises their close working relationship with iCount accountancy training partnership in Manchester; the firm were one of the first accountancy practice to put students through iCount’s chartered accountancy programme.
