There is still time to join in at local building society the Vernon’s big band concert to benefit Stockport Foodbank and the Furniture Station, both in Hazel Grove.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll night will feature the championship standard Vernon Building Society (Poynton) Brass Band performing a variety of music from the Beatles, Queen, Meatloaf, Bryan Adams and the Rolling Stones. A number of jazz and classical hits will also be performed.
There’s still time to get tickets for the event which is being held on Friday 16th October 2015 from 7:30pm at Hazel Grove Baptist Church, Station Road, Hazel Grove.
Tickets are available in advance from the Church or any local Vernon branch for just £5, all of which will go to the two local charities. They can also be purchased on the door at the event.
