Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can nurture children and help them develop? If so, then Childminding may be for you.
The importance of the early years of every child’s life is well known. During this formative time, children begin to explore the world around them; develop life skills they will build on in the future and form secure, loving attachments. Whilst a lot of this learning takes place at home, childcare can also have a key role to play for working families.
Childminding gives parents and guardians the opportunity to have their child cared for in a stimulating home environment. The chance to have their children looked after in a loving, educational play setting where they are encouraged to grow and develop is an option favoured by many.
The Government has recently doubled the business start-up grant available to all new childminders to £500 which can be used by all newly qualified Childminders to help with the costs of setting up a Childminding Business.
Childminding is a hugely important and rewarding career with the the flexibility and opportunity to fit work around your family’s needs while making a real difference to the lives of children. By offering high quality childcare you will not only provide each child with unique opportunities, but will also help equip them with the skills they need to thrive in later life.
