A popular networking event for the financial and professional services sectors in Stockport and South Manchester returns in October after a pandemic break.
South Manchester Financial & Professional network, established by Stockport Economic Alliance and Stockport Council, will re-launch its regular networking events at the Deanwater Hotel on Thursday 21st October.
The event will provide an opportunity to network and collaborate with other representatives from the sector, along with topical presentations and information sharing that can help build your business.
Network chair, Chris Booth, will welcome attendees and introduce the morning’s agenda and two guest speakers:
- Paul Richards, Director of Development and Regeneration, Stockport Council
Paul will be providing an update on Stockport’s development and regeneration projects that are taking place across the borough over the next 12 months. - Patrick Ettore: The Cyber Resilience Centre
The North West Cyber Resilience Centre aims to raise awareness of the cyber threats that come with moving online and provide practical support to help protect small businesses based in Greater Manchester from online crime.
The event will take place on Thursday 21st October. With registration and breakfast taking place from 7.30am and presentations starting at 8am. The event should conclude by 9.00am.

Balmoral Suite, at The Deanwater Hotel, Wilmslow Rd, Woodford, SK7 1RJ. The hotel has ample on site car parking.
The event in free to attend but are popular: early booking via Eventbrite is recommended to avoid disappointment.
