Souter PR has been appointed to provide support to Orbit Developments, Stockport’s largest commercial property company.
The job is to raise awareness of the firm’s 12-strong property portfolio – the largest in Stockport – and its 40-year track record of providing high quality office accommodation for a wide range of businesses.
A major focus of the campaign is to showcase Orbit Developments’ newly-refurbished flagship property, Regent House, off Wellington Road, opposite Merseyway.
It also aims to bring clarity to the launch of the company’s SKone reward card and benefits scheme, which is designed to add value for all Orbit Development tenants and support local independent retailers in Stockport.
Tony Jones, MD of Orbit Developments nationally, said there was a renewed focus on Stockport as a priority to help drive footfall in Regent House and other buildings with vacancies. It’s a good time to be up-weighting our profile. ”
“Stockport has a great deal to offer employers and there is a vibrancy about business here which is often an untold story. Souters will be developing a campaign to keep Stockport and Orbit Developments top of mind when companies are thinking about an office move.”
Kirsty Hall, Associate Director at Souters, (pictured right) said that they would be working with the newly appointed marketing assistant Claire Stott to get Orbit Developments in the headlines.
“In spite of many decades in Stockport, Orbit Development’s profile is lower than it should be. Our job will be to get its story told in as many ways as we can.”
The launch of SKone is a first for the developer company and has been well received by tenants and retailers.
Hall again:
“Part of the work will be to support SKone as a business community benefit. Orbit Developments is committed to creating a healthy economy in Stockport, filling its office spaces and driving trade into surrounding shops and services.”
Orbit Developments is one of the headline sponsors of the Stockport Business Awards and is very active in the Stockport Chamber, the Stockport Economic Forum and new business community portal Marketing Stockport.
