Manchester’s charismatic Chief Executive Sir Howard Bernstein was this week confirmed as the headline speaker for The Great Manchester Business Conference.
Organisers of the event, pro-manchester and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, have also announced Head of Global Man Diesel & Turbo SE, Stockport’s Wayne Jones and Chief Operating Officer at commercial bank OakNorth, Chris Dailey as additions to the speaker line up.
Sir Howard Bernstein (pictured left) will open the event on Friday 6th March 2015 whilst Jones and Dailey will provide addresses around advanced manufacturing and access to finance.
The event will be held at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s state of the art conference centre The Point. Over 400 delegates are expected to attend the fast paced, news style show. Key note speeches and panel debates are interspersed with video footage, commentary and one on one interviews.
Speaking about the event, pro-manchester Chief Executive John Ashcroft said:
“ It’s great to confirm the first additions to the speaker programme for the Great Manchester Business Conference and of course to welcome Sir Howard back to open the show. We’re looking forward to confirming more speakers as our programme takes shape in the coming weeks, we’re already on track for a great conference for 2015”
