Leading North West law firm, SAS Daniels LLP, has joined forces with Alzheimer’s Society to support its latest initiative, ‘Will to Remember’, a subsidised voucher scheme for will writing and wealth planning.
The ‘Will to Remember’ scheme enables users to confidentially select a local solicitor from Alzheimer’s Society’s approved participating solicitors and receive a discount of up to £150 against the cost of planning and will writing.
In partnership with Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), the scheme launched this month and will roll-out in the North West across Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.
Making a will is one of the most important things everyone, at some point in their lives, has to consider. For many, selecting the right solicitor, determining costs and the thought of making decisions around the writing of a will is often seen as a daunting task. The scheme aims to help make this process easier.
Commenting on the firm’s involvement, Justine Clowes, SFE Vice-Chair and Partner at SAS Daniels LLP, (left) said:
“SAS Daniels has a firm commitment to supporting charities and the local community, and our involvement in the ‘Will to Remember’ scheme is testament to how we can help local people better plan for the future.
“We know and understand how important it is to seek robust advice and guidance from legally qualified professionals. The ‘Will to Remember’ Scheme will enable us to provide best advice and potentially change the future of dementia by encouraging gifts in wills.”
