In her new appointment, Sarah-Jane will be working to raise the profile of the society in the community, with its members, and on a national level. She will support Miller in her new presidential role and continue to represent Stockport solicitors with local courts and regional associations, as well as at a national level with the Law Society at Chancery Lane, London.
Sarah-Jane, a member of the SAS Daniels dispute resolution team, has also been promoted to the role of Associate with effect from 1st July 2013. She advises both private and commercial clients on issues including contractual claims, commercial and residential property disputes and cases of professional negligence and duty of care actions.
Sarah-Jane commented: “I am delighted to have been named Deputy President of the Society. It is an honour to be involved in an historic society that has represented local solicitors for over a hundred years. The society is an integral part of the community and I look forward to increasing awareness of it in my role as Deputy President.”
Jonathan Whittaker, Chairman of SAS Daniels, added: “Sarah-Jane’s new role will allow her to demonstrate the valuable expertise and knowledge she provides to her clients on a much wider scale. She is a credit to the firm and will undoubtedly excel in her new role.”
