Stockport based Robinsons has looked to North Wales as the 181 year old brewer continues to expand and invest in its pub estate.
The Four Alls in Caernarfon, The Seacroft in Trearddur Bay and The George III Hotel are now part of the company’s portfolio, which totals 260.
Over the past five years, Robinsons has invested £27m and completed more than 130 pub refurbishments.
The George III, which is set on the banks of the magnificent Mawddach Estuary on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, is renowned in the area for it’s excellent food, drink, accommodation and it’s breathtaking setting and is the latest in a series of 12 managed venues to benefit.
Constructed in 1650 to serve the flourishing boat building industry, the historic building’s accommodation is set over ten guest rooms.
William Robinson, managing director of the pub division at Robinsons, said:
“As a business, we’ve been working really hard to strengthen our award-winning estate of pubs, inns and hotels across the North West.
“As part of our ongoing acquisition and investment strategy, we were delighted to have the opportunity to acquire The Four Alls, The Seacroft and The George III Hotel. These pubs are an excellent fit for Robinsons and reinforce our presence in North Wales; a place we’re very passionate about.”
