Voodoo Dawn, Robinsons Brewery’s first seasonal beer of 2015 is already turning heads. The 3.9% ABV ruby red ale has been flying through hand-pulls and across the bar with over 36,000 pints being quaffed within the first week of its release.
With its distinctive American hop aroma, Voodoo Dawn uses English Cascade with American Target hops resulting in a unique brew with a predominantly strong hop palate. The balance of biscuit malt with caramelised toffee flavours results in a full bodied, bitter beer; the perfect drink to be enjoyed during the cold winter months.
Gill Yates, Brands Manager for Robinsons Brewery said:
“It’s all about giving choice; the cask ale market has exploded over the past 3 years with countless innovative beers coming from the thousands of brewers and micro-breweries in the UK. It’s a great time to celebrate British beer and we feel that this year’s seasonal offering can stand tall in a crowded market and offer real ale lovers even more reasons to go to the pub and enjoy the nations favourite drink.”
Voodoo Dawn marks the first of five limited edition ales that the Stockport brewer will release in 2015 but Robinsons promise to serve up even more surprises throughout the year.
Gill continued:
“2015 is going to be one of our biggest years to date. We have many different surprises coming over the next twelve months which we know will be loved by everyone. Stay tuned.”
