ROBINSONS – one of only 32 independent family-run breweries in the UK – has released the first part of a redevelopment of the Robinsons Brewery website in partnership with MANDO; an award winning web agency based in Liverpool.
The first phase is an early release of a stand-alone pub website for one of the brewer’s Managed Houses, The Bulls Head in Hale Barns (http://www.bullsheadhalebarns.pub/).
The new website was perfectly timed to coincide with the opening of the pub, which has been closed since July for refurbishment. It now features a cutting edge, premium design that retains the Bulls Head’s reputation as a quality pub. The pub has seen a significant investment made into the refurbishment and required a top-notch website to match.
In addition to launching a suite of pub websites, Robinsons is also undergoing a complete digital overhaul of the main Robinsons corporate website and the Visitor Centre brewery experience. All of this is intended to provide greater online visibility and drive revenue for Robinsons and their licensees.
Speaking about the project, Daniella Martin, Communications Manager for Robinsons said: “This project has been a long time in the planning and it’s very rewarding to see the first of the new look pub websites go live. As with any business, a pub’s website is hugely important. It’s the first place new customers look to ‘find out more’… a strong online presence is vital to the success of our pubs; many of which are located in rural areas.”
“The feedback to date has been incredible and The Bulls Head is a great launch-pad for the rest of our pub estate. We’re now looking forward to seeing the full suite of sites launched later this year, ready for the pre-Christmas rush.”
Steve Swann, Creative Director at Mando said: “We were thrilled to be asked to deliver a new digital platform for Robinsons. Our aim was to create a contemporary image-led suite of responsive websites that encapsulated the heritage of the Robinsons brand and showcased each of the pubs online. It’s an exciting time for Robinsons – and we’re excited to be a part of that.”
